马中企业家联合会成立智能科技分会促进马中合作PUCM set up AI & IT chapter to Bring in more China AI and technology

吉隆坡26日讯: 马来西亚-中国企业家联合会(PUCM)今日成立智能科技分会,旨在引进更多中国智能科技企业来马投资,促进马中两国智能科技领域的合作。

PUCM总会长拿督李中平对马新社说,中国是智能科技的大国。科技创新为中国经济增长提供了持续的动力。目前,中国不少智能科技产业公司已经进入和开始拓展大马市场,积极参与大马各类高科技产业合作平台和项目的扩建和升级,为中马合作开辟了新天地。

马来西亚政府正在努力以人工智能科技促进社会经济成长,PUCM愿将更多与人工智能技术相关的中国企业带到马来西亚,并与当地同伴紧密互助,进一步提升马来西亚的科学技术水平,促进马来西亚经济发展。

PUCM智能科技分会会长、中国移动(马)有限公司董事经理邱志忠表示,PUCM拥有一些中国知名的智能科技企业会员,包括中国移动、中国电信、中国通信服务、华三科技、大华技术、科大讯飞等具有世界领先智能科技水平的企业已经来马投资。希望通过成立智能科技分会为他们创建和本地政府和社会沟通交流与合作的平台,促进马中在智能科技领域的合作与发展。

马来西亚-中国企业家联合会(PUCM)立于2015年,目前拥有150多家会员企业,是大马最具活力、最接地气的中国商会之一。商会会员投资在多个领域如信息科技、建筑、矿业、石油、天然气、电讯、能源、零售、制造、教育、医疗、传媒、旅游业等行业,并在大马创造了大量的就业机会。

PUCM通过拍摄华人新春贺岁片、开斋节短片、举办讲座论坛、美丽中国系列宣传活动、走入马来社区交流与慈善等多种灵活方式宣介中国企业、促进马中友好及与当地社区交流,获得当地社会及主流媒体的大力肯定与报道。

PUCM与2019年12月在吉隆坡谷中城展览中心成功举办为期2天的大马首届“中国智能科技展览会”12月15日在吉隆坡谷中城展览中心。来自中国、新加坡和马来西亚的数十家公司向大马民众公开展示来自中国的智能科技、智慧城市、各类机器人应用、无人机展示及各种智能产品。

PUCM于上个月18日在关丹成立彭亨州分会,由马来西亚通讯及多媒体部部长拿督赛夫丁主持成立典礼。

Kuala Lumpur August 26 :  China Entrepreneurs Association in Malaysia (PUCM) set up AI & IT chapter today in Kuala Lumpur to bring in more China AI & technology enhancing bilateral corporation in the fields of technology.

PUCM president Dato’ Keith Li told Bernama that China is a world powerhouse in AI and smart technology, which has enabled China to make outstanding economic achievement over the past few decades . Quite some world leading China AI companied already settled down in Malaysia and looked forward to expanding their business in the region.

PUCM  noted that the Malaysian government has been putting a high priority on innovation and creativity, and using smart technology to boost economic and social development . Malaysian government is looking to set up to get on board with the 4th Industrial Revolution.

PUCM’s vision is to bring more AI and smart technologies to Malaysia in future and to work closely with local partners to further enrich Malaysia’s technological and economic development.

PUCM AI & IT Chapter president C.C. Hew said that by setting up the chapter , PUCM could bridge more  China AI & IT companies with Malaysian counterparts to enrich bilateral corporations.  Hew is also  the managing director of China Mobile International Malaysia. Rather than  China Mobile,  China Telecom , China Commservice, H3C , Vivo, Dahua and Iflytek will play their roles in the Chapter.

PUCM was established in 2015 and currently has  over 150 company members. It is  one of the most active and locally recognised China association in Malaysia. PUCM members have invested in a variety of business sectors such as information technology, construction, mining, oil & gas, telecommunications, energy, retail, manufacturing, education, healthcare, media and tourism, and have been making a significant contribution to Malaysia’s economic development.

PUCM has been actively promoting Chinese companies and communicating with the local community through such creative methods as holding trade exhibition, shooting Chinese New Year and Hari Raya video clips, holding seminars and forums, interacting with the Bumiputera community and holding charity events. PUCM also interacts regularly with local and international medias.

PUCM held Malaysia’s 1st China Smart Technology Trade Exhibition ( SCITE) on 14th to 15th December 2019 in Mid Valley Exhibition Center Kuala Lumpur  companies and presented AI and Smart technology products from China , such as smart city concept , various Robot applications ,  drone presentations and other smart products.

PUCM set up its Pahang Chapter officiated by YB Dato’ Saifuddin Abdullah ,  Minister of Communications and Multimedia  on 18th July 2020 in Kuantan.
