PUCM president Datuk Keith Li was invited by the State Council of China to participate in a series of activities marking the 74th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, including attending a joint banquet at the Great Hall of the People, a symposium with representatives of the overseas Chinese community from all over the world, and a visit to the Tiananmen Gate Tower.

Datuk Keith Li shared his personal experience and opinions at the symposium of representatives of the overseas Chinese community on "leveraging the strength and wisdom of overseas Chinese to help high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative." , which was applauded by organiser and representatives.
